Learn to create paintings that look like encaustic BUT without the heat and fumes. This is the newest medium that most artists want to learn.

This is a preparatory / introductory class which you will need before taking more advanced classes with Linda Benton McCloskey, This is a nuts and bolts class where you will learn about various materials, surface effects and techniques used to achieve unique finishes. You will leave the class with 3—4 completed pieces of art.

All supplies are provided except cradle boards. If you want to work on these, please gesso prior to class and tape the sides so they will be ready to use.

Bring an apron or other cover up.
