This is a four-day watercolor workshop that will focus on creating a unique and expressive painting that is stylized or abstracted to command attention and intrigue the viewer. Sterling Edwards is world renowned for his dynamic style of painting and will gladly share his techniques and design principles throughout the week. In addition, he'll show you how to paint with large brushes to create a loose and expressive painting in a relatively short period of time.

Some of what you learn includes how to design an eye catching composition, balancing positive and negative shapes, creative color mixing, saving white unpainted paper, the importance of  minimizing detail, adding rich dark values, and much more.
