Day one - participants will experience the spontaneity & vibrant colors of pastels by practicing on various surfaces with basic drawing exercises.  They will also learn how to easily draw a simple landscape using basic shapes, lay in color on the surface & blend the pastels using various tools & methods.

Day two - students will learn various underpainting techniques & how to finish their work with a light touch & detail.  Each participant will complete several small landscape paintings with lots of personal instruction.

All supplies provided.  Bring an apron and bring your lunch.  Snacks and non-alcoholic libations provided.
